The leadership of the Modern Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (MTMPN) has appointed the village head of Giri community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT, Alhaji Wakili Musa as the life patron of the association in Gwagwalada as well as other officials in the territory.
Some of the officials appointed at the venue of the occasion in Giri are: Dr Abdul Fatai Ishaq; FCT Chief Imam, Dr Godwin Gwagwa Rai; Chairman Zone A, Dr Abubakar Medidaji; Chairman Zone B, Dr Oti Ethel Bert .O., Head of Inspecors, Dr Maimunatu Gabriel; FCT Chairlady, Dr Ahmed Shuaibu; FCT Auditor-General, Dr Prosper; FCT Pastor and the post of herbal midwife went to Dr Salamatu Gimba.
Other appointed officials included: Dr Bello Haruna; FCT Patron, Dr Salihu Madaki; Sarkin Magani Zone A, Dr Aliyu Saidu; FCT Youth Leader, Dr Salamatu Sekpe; FCT Assistant Chairlady, Dr Adamu Ibrahim; FCT Vice-Chairman, Dr Haruna Jiji; Legal Adviser and Dr Bukky Daro Jaiye maintained the position of Organizing Committee Chairman.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman of MTMPN in the FCT, Dr Gimba Zaibaru charged the officials to carryout their duties effectively.
He called on the entire members of the association to come together to work for the progress of the association and warned them against 419ners.
Also, speaking, the Vice-President of MTMPN in charge of North Central, Dr Seidu Obetule said the leadership of the association at the national level would carry every member along in the affairs of things.
He told the gathering that MTMPN is recognized by the Federal Ministry of Health as well registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Meanwhile, Dr Princess Habibatu Omeiza Bose accompanied the Vice-President of MTMPN to the occasion.
