The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Hon. Mallam Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has convened a strategic interactive session with the 62 Ward Ambassadors across the territory to solidify grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The meeting, held Wednesday aimed to streamline the organization’s mobilization strategy and equip representatives with accurate information to combat what the group termed “misinformation and opposition rhetoric.”

A centerpiece of the engagement was a presentation by Comrade Abdulwahab Ekekhide Abdulkadir, titled “The Current State of Oil and Gas as it Affects the Political Situation in the Country.”

According to a statement signed by Spokesperson/Director, Media and Publicity, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, FCT Chapter, Jibreel Muhammad Babangoshi, the presentation was designed to provide the ambassadors with factual perspectives to counter narratives allegedly circulated by opposition parties, which the RHA claims are aimed at misleading FCT residents.

Hon. Candido underscored the pivotal role of Ward Ambassadors, describing them as the backbone of the organization.

He tasked them with working in close synergy with the 25 Polling Unit Ambassadors stationed across every polling unit in the FCT.

”Ward Ambassadors are the most important unit of this project. “Your place in this project cannot be undermined.

“We cannot allow the opposition to mislead the public with rhetoric that is not true”, he said.

The session also served as a platform to review the current development trajectory of the nation’s capital. Participants noted a significant shift in governance, praising the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, for overseeing tangible infrastructure projects that are transforming the territory.

The group contrasted this with previous administrations, which they argued failed to deliver meaningful development to rural and urban communities within the FCT.

The Coordinator charged the ambassadors to act as official representatives of the President at the ward level, tasked with promoting the “Renewed Hope” agenda consistently.
