The Vice-chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Southwest in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter, Chief (Dr.) Wasiu Tunwase, who is also the Otunba of Yoruba Community in the FCT, has called on the party’s members and supporters to work hand in hand with the executives to work to achieve the desired result in 2022 election.
Tunwase, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily Correspondent after the APC reconciliation meeting in Gwagwalada.
He pleaded with aggrieved members to put aside grievances and work towards the progress of the party in 2022 Area Council election.
He said the leaders as well as stakeholders would continue to work towards amicable resolution of the party in 2022, advising the leaders to always use diplomacy to approach any issue within the party.
Dr. Tunwase, however, warned every member of the party to avoid sending destructive text messages to whatsApp/facebook, saying that such text messages could damage the image our members or party executives.
In another development, Otunba had conducted the naming ceremony of his child, Abdulmalik, Oluwasen, Oluwasegun, Oladipupo, Oluwafemi on Tuesday in Zuba.
While speaking with Peoples Daily Correspondent, he thanked God for what He has done to him, praying that the child should be a great person in future.
The naming ceremony was attended by the Oba of Yoruba Community in the FCT, Oba Olusegun Salau and other Obas among other dignitaries.
