The Managing Director/CEO of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Engr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi, is collaborating with Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) for better infrastructural development.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued Director, Information and Public Relations,Mrs Maryam M. Sanusi (Mrs.).
He said the collaboration also include developing of new models that will improve the value of Nigeria roads.
The MD stated this while receiving delegations from ICRC led by the Director General/CEO, Mike A. Ohiani recently, on a courtesy visit .
Speaking, Ohiani disclosed that ICRC seeks partnership with FERMA in areas such as capacity building, technical support and assistance, research collaboration, road maintenance scorecard and standards system. According to him, exploring these opportunities two agencies will enhance capacity for FERMA and ICRC staff.
Others are improving road maintenance, effectiveness in infrastructure development as well as strengthen concession management.
Responding, Engr. Agbasi pointed out that collaborating with ICRC is a timely development .
