The Federal Government has released the 2026/2027 admission list for candidates offered admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) in Federal Unity Colleges across the country.
The Federal Ministry of Education announced this in a statement issued on Monday by its Director of Press and Public Relations, Boriowo Folasade.
The statement said the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, approved the release of the list as part of efforts to make the admission process transparent and accessible to candidates and their parents.
The ministry said the admission exercise was conducted to give eligible candidates placement in Federal Unity Colleges while allowing parents and guardians to easily check their admission status.
Parents and guardians can check the admission status of their children and wards through the Federal Ministry of Education’s admission portal or the notice board of the Federal Unity College where the candidate was offered admission.
Successful candidates are required to print their admission slips after confirming their admission status.
They are also expected to report to the Federal Unity College stated on their admission slips for confirmation and completion of the admission process.
The admission status and slips can be accessed through the FME Posting Portal at fmeposting.com.ng/auth/login.
The ministry advised parents and guardians to follow all instructions contained in the admission documents and provide the necessary support to their children and wards ahead of resumption.
It also urged parents to check the admission status of their children promptly to avoid missing any deadline in the admission process.
Successful candidates were advised to meet the requirements of their respective colleges and complete all required documentation within the given period.
The release of the list is the next step in the 2026/2027 admission exercise into Federal Unity Colleges, which offer secondary education to students from different parts of Nigeria.
Alausa congratulated the successful candidates and their families, urging the students to take the opportunity seriously and remain focused on their studies.
He also encouraged the newly admitted students to be disciplined, committed to their education and focused on achieving good academic results as they begin their studies in the Federal Unity Colleges.
