Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John said the federal government is set to promote and create Nigeria’s tourism products at home and in diaspora.
This was contained in a statement signed and issued by Head (Press & Public Relations), Mrs Emem MARIA Offiong.
According to the statement, Ade-John made the disclosure at the 2023 World Tourism day, yesterday in Abuja, with the theme: “Tourism and Green Investment”.
The Minister stated that the tourism “products are vast, plentiful and core to revenue generation for the country”.
She stated that there is a need to take tourism to our community level.
“In order to showcase the hidden gems of our the villages in all regions of picturesque and diversity, this will essentially create sustainable tourism in Nigeria”.
The minister also highlighted major point that will help the growth and development of tourism in Nigeria .
