Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajuba has said that that plans have been concluded to establish one university of technology in each of the six geo – political zones of Nigeria.

Nwajuba disclosed this while speaking during the 30th convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

He said “this is part of the government’s commitment towards upgrading the existing universities of technology in the country.”

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Minna, Professor Abdullahi Bala said 3,892 students were being awarded First Degrees out of which 58 graduated with First Class.
