The Federal Fire Service (FFS) has announced the commencement of training for its officers at the National Fire Academy (NFA) in Abuja.
This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by its National Public Relations Officer, ACF P. O. Abraham.

The development comes on the heels of the recent introduction of new promotion guidelines by the Minister of Interior, Hon (Dr.) Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, incorporating mandatory Career Development Training.

During the flag-off ceremony, the Controller General (CG) of the Service, Engr Abdulganiyu Jaji, urged officers to concentrate on the exercise, emphasizing that successful completion of the course has become a prerequisite for promotion to the next level.
