Former Adamawa APP guber candidate, Adamu Modibbo dies at 63

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s foremost political associate of and former gubernatorial candidate of All Peoples Party in Adamawa state,Alhaji Adamu Modibbo is dead.
A family source of the deceased businessman cum politician confirmed that late Modibbo was born in 1957.
The source said the politician died Sunday at about 4:00pm in Yola German hospital after a brief illness.
“Before he was taken to hospital, he told us that he was taking malaria and typhoid treatment.
“ But when the fever gets higher, we took him to a hospital were he was referred to the German hospital.
“He recorded tremendous improvement yesterday (Saturday) and even took a stroll outside the hospital from the VIP 3 ward were he was admitted.
“ But he died today at about 4:00pm possibly from heart failure,” the source said.
Modibbo left behind two wives and many children.
He has since been buried in Yola yesterday (Monday) according to Islamic rites.
