The Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria (FNYLPPN) applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s announcement of a 30-day national youth conference aimed at addressing the critical challenges facing young Nigerians.
In a statement, it said that the initiative provides a unique platform for dialogue and collective action to find solutions to issues affecting the youth across the nation.
The statement which was signed by the Chairman of FNYLPPN and NNPP National Youth Leader, Amb. Muhammed Auwal Musa, noted that the conference comes at a crucial time as Nigeria grapples with economic difficulties, insecurity, and limited youth participation in governance.
Musa said to ensure a productive dialogue, FNYLPPN emphasizes the need for inclusivity, urging that youth representatives from all political parties to be actively involved in this transformative initiative.
“The Forum acknowledges the bold economic reforms that this administration has undertaken.
“These long-overdue reforms align with global economic standards and represent the most significant economic transformation since Nigeria’s independence. However, it is imperative to address the immediate impact on the lives of Nigerians, especially the challenges of hunger and hardship.”
