The Senior Pastor of Zion Flames Ministries, Apostle Momo Promise, has declared that Nigeria is entering a season of renewal and recovery, predicting that the country will experience a major turnaround from this Christmas through the 2027 general elections.
Momo made the declaration while speaking to journalists during the church’s Christmas service in Abuja, where he said the nation’s prolonged hardships were coming to an end by divine intervention.
“For Nigeria, this is a new dawn. It is a new, fresh beginning,” he said, adding that the period from Christmas through the coming years would mark a decisive shift for the country.
The cleric stated that oppression, affliction and suppression confronting Nigerians would give way to a new season of hope, peace and stability, urging citizens not to lose faith despite prevailing challenges.
He expressed gratitude for survival amid economic and security difficulties, thanking God that Nigerians were alive to witness another Christmas despite what the nation had endured.
Anchoring his message on the Christian faith, Momo described Christmas as the celebration of God’s intervention in human affairs through the birth of Jesus Christ, which he said symbolised freedom, hope and deliverance.
He cautioned against excessive focus on social activities during the season, warning that Christmas should not be reduced to eating, drinking or material display at the expense of its spiritual significance.
“Christmas is the celebration of Christ. He must remain the heart and centre of it,” he said, while calling for moderation in all festivities.
The pastor urged Christians to use the season for reflection and recommitment to God, encouraging love, generosity and support for others as the true essence of Christmas.
According to him, demonstrating compassion and unity remains critical as Nigerians look forward to what he described as a divinely orchestrated national rebirth.
