Gombe govt disburses intervention funds to MSMEs affected flood

As part of the effort, Gombe state government said it has disbursed funds  to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises to cushion effects of flood that devastated communities during raining season.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya who stated this on Thursday in Gombe said the gesture was part of intervention from the state government to address challenges of communities that were devastated by flood.

According to him, his administration is committed to look into the welfare of the people.

He said the disbursement of the intervention funds was aimed at alleviating the suffering of the poor and vulnerable in the society.
