The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council in the FCT, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has said that plans underway to commission the completed projects being carried out across the twelve wards of the Area Council.

Maikalangu, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Emeka Orji during the AMAC media Retreat held at Mararaba in Fresh land Hotel in Nasarawa State on Wednesday, thanking the AMAC Press corps for supporting his administration in terms of publicity.

The Chairman said his leadership would continue to partner with the media in order to achieve successes, adding that his administration will place premium on the welfare of the AMAC Press Corps.

He pointed out that his administration would not hesitate to execute people’s oriented projects for the sake of masses who voted him in power.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the press corps in AMAC, Mr. Wisdom Ecka, urged the council chairman to take the Internal Journalists along in the scheme of things.

Ecka pleaded with the Chairman of AMAC to deem it fit to give the Hajj/Jerusalem slots to the members of the press corps so as to feel the impact of his administration.

On his part, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the AMAC Chairman, Mr. Kingsley Madaki, told the AMAC Press corps that he would continue to mediate between the Press corps and the Chairman of AMAC for better coverage.

Not left out, the resource person at the event, Mr. Abdul Jelil called for harmonium working relationship between the council boss and the press for the overall development of the Council.
