Gombe NMA gets new Chairman

From David Hassan, Gombe The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA)  Gombe state chapter,  has elected Dr Adamu Bojude as the  new  state chairman to run the affairs of the association for the next two years.
Speaking at the swearing ceremony in Gombe on Sunday, Dr Jauro Degri the immediate past chairman of the chapter said, following the by election that was conducted in June in order to fill   the office of the chairman where two candidates, Dr. John Aremu and Adamu Bojude both staff of the Federal Medical Hospital, Gombe scored equal marks of 101 votes at the election,   drew the attention of the union to organize a re-run election to enable the union get authentic chairman.
Swearing in the officials, Mr Caleb Ubale the Association legal adviser, charged the newly elected officials to be dedicated and committed in running the affairs of the association. Speaking to newsmen   shortly after the ceremony, Bojude thanked his colleagues for the confidence reposed on them and promised to justify it.
