The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe state command has said it will always be on its toe to collaborate and support Real Golden Ocean investment company regarding to mining activity.

The state commandant of the Corps Mr. Gyama Gyawiya made the disclosure while playing host to the Managing Director of the Real Golden Ocean Mr. Wood Zhana, who paid him a courtesy call to his office.

While recieving the Managing Director, at the state command headquarters in Gombe,  the commandant assured the company of hospitality which he said the state is safe for business.

He also emphasized NSCDC commitment in ensuring security for legitimate miners to enable them access the resources without hindrance.

“The NSCDC is dedicated to providing a secure environment for businesses to thrive

 “We recognize the importance of the mining sector to the economy of Gombe State and are committed to supporting legitimate mining operations”, he said.

The Commandant also highlighted the NSCDC’s collaborative efforts with the Ministry of Solid Minerals at both State and Federal levels. He noted that the Corps is working closely with the Ministry to ensure that mining operations in the State are conducted in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.

Speaking earlier, the managing director of Real Golden Ocean company,, Mr. Wood Zhana, assured the command of it’s readiness to carryout the mining activities wit kin interest in the state, noting that the visit to the command headquarters was aimed at fostering relationship that will bring synergy between the company and the command.

He appreciated an enabling environment given to the company to strive which he said the company will do everything it could maintain it’s obligation by making its business unique in the state.
