Gombe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youths Concern Forum has intimated the former Vice-president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to look at his political ambition and consider youth participation in forth coming general elections in 2027.

Jemilu Adamu Umar, who spoke during a press conference on behalf of the forum in Gombe on Thursday said youths are eligible to hold political offices inorder break the barrier of hardship that Nigerians are facing.

The forum also said for the country to gain it’s loss glory, there is tendency to consider the youths who are the engine room of the society to participate fully in elections and elected as political office holder to sanitized the suffering that the country has found itself.

Umar while expressing deep concern about the issue of banditry, kidnapping among other insecurity threat in the country said is alarming something need to be done fast to ensure that citizens are conducted with good moral behaviour from their leaders he stated.

He appreciated with the former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar for his resilience as a mentor within the party that always keep the party first.

“We want to assure the former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar that the PDP youths concern forum remain committed and loyal to the party.

 “We also  appeal that the  inclusiveness of the youths in elections will not only be successful but will equally  boost the affairs of the party to greater heights he said.

“Our commitment remain resolute where we stand as a people to ensure that our party is united without compromise.

“The priority of Nigerians citizens is to see that the country is being manage by leaders who have them at heart, we are calling on party faithful to allow Nigeria youths to participate in elections from  offices  of the president, Senate, House of Representatives and even gubernatorial seat to change the narrative of the country”, he stated.
