Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue state has emphasised the importance of collective effort in enhancing democracy and securing a prosperous future for Benue.
Te governor who said this at the extended All Progrrssive Congress, APC, Caucus meeting at the weekend in Makurdi, lauded party members for their unwavering support and commitment to the development of the state.
During the caucus meeting, party leaders from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, African Democratic Congress, ADC and Labour Party, LP, and some of their supporters were welcomed into the APC.
Governor Alia highlighted the principles of collaboration and leadership that aimed not just for existence but for thriving competition among the 36 states in Nigeria.
He also, addressed significant developments in the political landscape, revealing a growing shift towards the APC reinforced by the presence of key political figures from various parties including the PDP, ADC and LP who decamped to the APC in the state.
