The First Lady of Edo State governor, Mrs Betsy Obaseki and the National Chairman Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole were on Tuesday absent during the Ceremony to mark the three years anniversary of the State.
Wife of the Governor was away for an official engagement where she was billed to represent the Bank of Industry in South Africa, according to the organisers of the programme.
Our Correspondent learnt that the absence of Oshiomhole absence may not be unconnected with the political feud between the Governor and his predecessor.
But, our Correspondent could not confirm if Oshiomhole was invited to the event as at the time of filing this report.
Besides, the minister of Works, Mr Babatunde Fashola who was billed to feature at the Ceremony, was also absent at the event
But, the former National Chairman of APC and former Governor of the State, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, made it to the anniversary which began last Week Friday.
