Delta State Governor, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, on Tuesday congratulated the Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Mr Tim Owhefere, as he clocks 57.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, on Tuesday in Asaba, the governor eulogized Owhefere, who represents Isoko North constituency, for his outstanding humility, patriotism and commitment in handling the affairs of the Assembly as Leader.
He commended Owhefere for his abiding faith and reference to the ideals of democracy and rule of law.
Okowa described Owhefere as a “cerebral lawmaker with enviable competence and a pride to the legislative institution’’, adding that Delta was blessed to have competent lawmakers in his class.
“While wishing you a happy birth anniversary celebration, I pray that God Almighty continues to keep you in good health and bless you with many more years of robust service to the people of Isoko North in particular and Delta,” he stated.
