Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba has signed the following bills into law to provide for a Social Security Scheme in the State and for connected matters 2023.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Muhammad Lawal Shehu and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that when the law becomes operational, it will institutionalize the social investment programs by providing a social safety net that will help to reduce poverty.
The statement added that the law will establish an administrative responsible for contributory pension, contributory health, and social investments in the State, with a Governing Board
“The Board, which comprises the Executive Chairman, and five other executive secretaries who shall be responsible for the following: (1) Contributory Pensions (2) Contributory Health (3) Social Assistance (4) Legal Service and Secretariat.”
Gov Sani also signed the Law to make provision for the Development of Tech-Enabled Start-Ups in Kaduna State, and Other Related Matters, 2023.
