Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani has asked corps members deployed to the state to put on their creativity caps and become productive, to survive in the face of economic challenges facing the country.
The Governor made the call at the closing ceremony of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) 2023 Batch B Stream 2 orientation course in Kaduna,
Speaking on the challenging economic situation faced by the country, he encouraged the corps members to “think creatively and explore unconventional avenues for personal growth beyond your service year. I have no doubt that your resourcefulness will lead to a brighter future.”
He urged the corps members to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired at the orientation camp in their daily lives after leaving the camp.
He continued, “To the Heads of various government and private institutions in Kaduna State, I implore you to embrace corps members posted to your organizations. I assure you that government remains committed in her support to the NYSC scheme in the State.
“We are all aware that the core principle of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is centred around national integration. I urge you to embrace and respect the diverse cultures and traditions of your host communities”, the governor said.
