Governor Uba Sani has promoted CSP Usman Maibindiga, the Commanding Officer of Operation Fushin Kada, a special security operational unit established by the Kaduna State Government in collaboration with the Kaduna State Police Command to combat kidnapping, banditry, and other violent crimes across the state.

His promotion from Superintendent of Police (SP) to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) recognizes his exemplary service.

CSP Maibindiga, originally from Nguru, Yobe State, is a distinguished officer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law and Diplomacy. Since joining the Nigeria Police Force in 2014, he has held various strategic positions and achieved significant operational successes against criminal networks in Kaduna State, as well as the North-West and North-East regions. He has also participated in several local and international professional courses. His professionalism and bravery have made him a respected member of the Force and a reliable partner in advancing the Governor’s vision for a secure Kaduna State.

Governor Uba Sani congratulated CSP Maibindiga on his well-deserved promotion, commending his dedication to duty, integrity, and patriotism.

The promotion ceremony was attended by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Charge of Operations, as well as CSP Maibindiga’s wife and their newborn son, Usman Zunnurain, whom the Governor affectionately referred to as the “Baby of the Year” and a “Child of Kaduna State.”
