Group donates educational materials school in FCT

Abuja Prayer Ground, a group on Friday donated education materials worth thousands of Naira to Kado-Kuchi Primary school Abuja.

Speaking during the distribution of the materials held on the school premises, Abuja Prayer Ground coordinator Nicolas Utsalo explained that schools are moving from blackboard to Whiteboard, even digital classes, we felt that, first of all, let’s take that step to provide this whiteboard.

“We believe that education is the bedrock of any society so we feel that this should be our way of giving back and supporting the pupils to become better leaders tomorrow.

“These are two whiteboards and there are several classes that are still using blackboard, if God blesses us, we could provide more. Aside from the whiteboard, we have a couple of things we can do to support the schools because we have been in this community for over 7 years”.

On her part, the headmistress of the school, Edit Arhanmhunde commended Abuja Prayer Ground, saying that this is what I have been praying for this school because is not easy learning in an environment that is not conducive.

She, however, called on individuals, NGOs, government to support the children with the learning materials like this so that they can learn better, saying that “Donation of a whiteboard to this pupils today is a thing of joy for me and still want more
