An Anti-Corruption  group under the auspices of  Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) has   urged the Federal  Government to channel Proceeds of Crime Recovery  to the benefit of Person Living with Disabilities  (PWDs).

A member of the Anti-Corruption Cluster of the (SCALE) project Mr. Lukman Adekunle  asserted this during  a dialogue on National  Anti -Corruption Strategy (NACS11) and  pending anti  corruption  bills   supported  by USAID and Palladium.

According  to him, such proceeds can be put into the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities  in  line with National Disability Act and also  be channeled  towards  construction of infrastructures  that will make life easier for PWDs.
