The Southern Kaduna Trailblazing Women Association (SOKATWA) is calling on women in Southern Kaduna to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration and make their voices heard in the 2027 general elections.

In a statement to the press, SOKATWA President Mrs. Belinda Augustine Istifanus emphasized the importance of women’s participation in the electoral process, saying, “A woman’s vote is her power and a vital tool in shaping the future of society.”

She urged women who registered in urban areas to transfer their voting locations back to their respective communities in Southern Kaduna to strengthen the region’s voting power.
