A prominent group from Southern Kaduna, the Tinubu-Uba Leadership Network (TULN), has issued a strong warning to opposition members within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) regarding what it called a growing campaign of misinformation and character assassination aimed at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani.

In a press statement signed by Charity Alex, the group’s State Secretary, and Damian Friday, the Director of Political Intelligence and Strategy, TULN accused certain PDP loyalists for employing “desperate political tactics” intended to mislead the public and undermine the progress of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The group specifically targeted Edward John Auta, a stalwart of the PDP and former chairmanship aspirant in Kaduna State, describing his recent public statements as inciting, unsubstantiated, and ethically irresponsible. They criticized Auta’s recent press conference questioning the religious identity of the Kaduna State Head of Service and casting doubt on the credibility of infrastructural projects in Kagarko, stating that his claims were riddled with falsehoods and designed to incite ethnic and religious tensions.

They emphasized that Auta’s efforts to discredit road projects in Kagarko LGA by circulating doctored images online warrant an investigation by security agencies.

“You cannot publicly attack Tinubu and Uba Sani by day and seek favor by night. Aligning with propagandists like Auta only deepens the divide between the opposition and the people they claim to represent,” TULN stated.
