Groups call on more intervention on nutrition in Jigawa

The lead Civil Society Organisations working to improve nutrition in Jigawa state have call on government to increase more support and intervention on nutrition activities in the state.
The CSOs that include Community Development Initiative Forum (CODIF), Organisation for Community Civil Engagement (OCCEN) and Silver Lining for Needy Initiative made the call through their leader comrade Musbahu Basurka during the lunch of MASAKI project on nutrition held at Jigawa state primary healthcare development agency conference hall.
The groups also called on proper implementation of the. project at community level for a better benefit of the people in the state.
Comrade Basurka who said, the lead CSOs on nutrition in the state are supported by ISMPH,ABF and CISLAC added that, addressing nutrition issues need more attention in the state.
The group then commended Jigawa state government for initiating Masaki project which is the first of it kind in the country.
