The Gwagwalada All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Ahmed Baba, the 2022 Chairmanship candidate of APC in the forthcoming Gwagwalada Area Council election, Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, the Special Adviser to the Minister of State for Federal Capital Territoty (FCT) on the Area Councils and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mohammed Saba, have charged members in the South South zone of the area to continue to support the party.
They made this appeal at the APC South-South forum inauguration/unveiling of the APC flag bearers at the weekend in Gwagwalada, where they were the special guests who attended the event.
Speaking at the inauguration, Giri solicited the support of the South-South People in the 2022 election, urging them to remain committed to the victory of the party always, adding that he would continue to partner with the APC South-South forum for the purpose of oneness and unity.
He appreciated the South-South people for organizing the ceremony.
Earlier, the APC Caretaker Chairman in Gwagwalada, Alhaji Ahmed Baba, said the authority of the APC in Gwagwalada and FCT at large would not hesitate to take the APC South-South Forum along in the scheme of things.
He called on the South-South people to deem it necessary to vote for the APC flag bearers in 2022 elections in the area.
On his part, the Dean, Faculty of Arts at the University of Abuja, Prof. Effiok Bassey Uwatt, who was the royal father of the day, urged the elected politicians to provide gains of democracy for the masses at all times.
