The Kano State Government had selected three airlines that would transport prospective Muslim pilgrims from the state to the Holy Land for this year’s Hajj.
The Public Relations Officer of the state’s Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Nuhu Badamasi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano yesterday that the airlines would transport the 5,600 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in this year’s Hajj operation.
Badamasi said the selected airlines were Kabo Air, Sky Power Airline and Max Air, adding that the Board had started preparations for the Hajj.
According to him, screening of intending pilgrims will commence on Monday, June 30, in all the 44 local government areas of the state.
He added that the prospective pilgrims must present themselves physically before the committee set up to conduct the screening. (NAN)
