Henry Makinwa Parts Ways With Katsina United Coach

Henry Makinwa has resigned his position as chief coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Katsina United, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The former ABS handler resigned from his position on Monday.
In an exclusive chat with our correspondent I Katsina, Coach Makinwa said his resignation was purely on mutual consent.
“We parted ways in mutual consent,” the former Abia Warriors coach said.
The coach also said that the club is not owing him in any way.
“No, no. they don’t owe me nothing.”
Coach Makinwa who described his period with the club as “fantastic” appreciated the club management and players for their support and wished them well.
“Under my technical ability, they recorded the first away win in the league, we had four away draws. I think it is the best they ever had. It has been a fantastic year for me, for the club and for everybody.
“There was mutual support from the management, the players, everybody. It was a successful period for me.
(Saying goodbye) “That is the most difficult task. We (with the players) both fall in love, me and the players. They loved me, I loved them. We did well. They understood my tactical approach right from the onset. They are fast learning guys. I just want to thank them, the management for they all stood solidly behind me.
“The people are wonderful and they supported me and the club massively. I am going to miss Katsina because I love the place. I wish them well.”
