Bauchi State Police Command has disclosed that 37 suspected have been arrested in a Joint Security Patrol.
Police Public Relations Officer DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar said all the suspects have been charged to court.
“We didn’t charge them as homosexuals or lesbians since we didn’t caught them in the act. We charged them with public nuisance since they were arrested organizing birthday party,” he explained.
He said Police acted on intelligence report and arrested the suspects and reiterated the commitment of the Police to protect lives and properties of its citizens.
