The Commissioner for culture, Home Affairs and Information, Hon. Abdullahi Bego, has charged information officers across the state to brace up and tighten their seat belts for significant reforms in the information sector.

He made this known on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of a three days capacity building workshop organized for the information officers.

The Commissioner emphasized the need for professionalism, innovation, and adaptability as the government seeks to reposition the information sector to meet modern-day challenges.

He stressed that timely, accurate, and transparent dissemination of information is critical in fostering public trust and achieving the administration’s goals.
