House of Purpose Ministry in Angwan Sunday, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna, celebrated its 19th anniversary on May 24, 2026, with a thanksgiving service that combined worship, reflection, and a strong appeal for personal integrity and accountable leadership in Nigeria.
Speaking under the theme; “Glory Realm,” Senior Pastor, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf, urged citizens to embrace sincerity and faith as the most effective responses to the nation’s challenges. He emphasized that the country needs people who are genuine in their walk with God and committed to truth, both in public and private life.
“If there is anything we need in a challenging time like this, it is that everyone should be real, genuine, and have God,” Apostle Yusuf told the congregation. “Be born again, have Jesus, and carry Christ inside you. That is the way out,” he added.
The pastor also addressed those in public office, calling for transparency and the fear of God in governance. He reminded leaders that their responsibilities go beyond politics and public opinion. “Leaders should know that they are leading people for whom one day they will give account in heaven,” he said.
In his message titled _“The Sound of Glory,”_ based on Acts 2:1–2 and 1 Chronicles 16:27, Apostle Yusuf explained that the anniversary was more than just a celebration of numbers. He described it as a milestone of God’s faithfulness, preservation, spiritual growth, and the church’s entrance into a new prophetic season.
“The sound of glory is the manifestation of God’s presence, bringing victory, revival, celebration, breakthrough, and divine intervention,” he explained. He clarified that wherever God’s glory appears, chains are broken, enemies are scattered, dry situations are revived, and divine guidance is given. He urged believers to prepare their hearts through worship, holiness, and consecration, emphasizing that “glory comes to a prepared house.”
The cleric declared that House of Purpose Ministry was completing a prophetic cycle and entering a more intense season of God’s presence. “We are changed from glory to glory,” he said. “There are better days ahead, and a heavier and a weightier glory is coming. But glory does not come upon an empty vessel. It comes upon vessels that are prepared.”
Apostle Yusuf also highlighted the unity shown during the celebration, noting that the attendance of visiting ministers and pastors reflected the strength of the church when it stands together. “Church is not divided. The Bible says I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. We are stronger when we are together,” he stated.
Chairman of the 19th Anniversary Celebration Committee, surveyor Deacon Musa Ephraim Suv, expressed gratitude to members and guests for their support and participation during the event. He said the large turnout demonstrated the impact of the ministry and the unity among its members.
“It is one thing to organize a program. It is another for people to show up,” Deacon Musa said. “We received a massive turnout and strong support. It proves that gradually we are reaching the promised land. I believe the large attendance inspired people. We have entered the glory realm.”
He added that the growth of the church over 19 years now resembles that of a much older ministry. “If you look at the church now, you would think it is almost 30 years old. It’s just 19. We thank God. We pray that in the next 15 years we will move to our permanent site and a larger church,” he said.
