How Kaduna Police Command bursted cultists networks, recovered Jerry-can containing blood

The Kaduna Police Command has revealed how its operatives successfully arrested seven suspected cultists, seized illegal firearms, and recovered a substantial quantity of suspicious substances believed to be blood.
This was contained in a statement by Command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP Mansir Hassan, and made available to the media in Kaduna on 8th April 2024.
The statement stated that the operation, conducted on April 6th, 2024, was initiated based on intelligence gathered from a reliable source.
The statement added that acting swiftly on the received information, police operatives moved into action at about 0300 hours after reports indicated unusual activities in the rocky and mountainous region of Dumbi along the Kaduna-Zaria expressway.
“During the raid, a total of seven suspects were arrested, while others managed to evade arrest under the cover of darkness.
“Among the items seized from the arrested suspects were two pistols, a 30-litre jerry can containing a liquid suspected to be blood, and a Lexus car believed to be associated with their criminal activities.
“The Command’s Commissioner of Police CP Ali Audu Dabigi PSC, commends the cooperation and vigilance of the community in providing crucial information leading to the successful operation”, the statement read.
He further reiterated the Command’s unwavering commitment to rooting out criminal elements and ensuring the safety and security of all residents within the state.
“Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the remaining suspects who fled the scene. The Kaduna Police Command urges anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in bringing the suspects to justice”, the statement added.
