The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Kaduna state Command, ASP Mansir Hassan has given details of how operatives of the Command arrested a notorious Kidnapper, Adamu Shuaibu, in the state.
According to him, Police attached to the Commissioner of Police monitoring unit in the State, the security operatives had on February 12, 2024 at 1300 hours or thereabout, acted on a credible intel and swiftly arrested the suspected kidnapper, who is 35 years old, of Dumale village, in Jere.
He said: “ He is a member of bandits’ group terrorising villages within and around Jere. An AK47 rifle was recovered from the suspected kidnapper.
“Discreet investigation is still ongoing as concerted efforts are been made to arrest the other members of his gang. Thereafter, the suspect will be charged to court for prosecution.”
He adds: “The Commissioner of Police Kaduna State Command, CP A.D Ali applauds the Operatives of the monitoring unit and reiterates his stands on denying criminal elements in the State of any operating space.
“He equally solicited for maximum support in terms of credible information from members of the public on suspicious characters in their area for prompt response.
