How Radda Reconstructed 5.1km Roads at N6.437bn

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has commissioned two roads covering 5.1 kilometer roads in Funtua, reconstructed at the cost of N6.437 billion.

The two roads include the 3.9km Funtua–Katsina Road, which was reconstructed and dualized at the cost of N5.8 billion, and the 1.2km Tsohuwar Kasuwa Road upgraded at the cost of N637 million.

Radda who commissioned the roads on Tuesday, said that the projects are key milestones for his administration’s urban renewal programme.

According to him, the projects are durable infrastructure that would stimulate economic growth, improve transportation and road safety, and sustainable development.

The Governor said the projects, executed by Mothercat Limited, are part of the administration’s Urban Renewal Programme being implemented across Katsina, Daura, and Funtua Senatorial Zones.

“Our administration will continue to invest in infrastructure that improves the lives of our people and strengthens the economic future of Katsina State. Every completed project brings us closer to the modern and prosperous state we desire,” he said.

Earlier, the Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, Engr. Sani Magaji Ingawa, said that the projects were executed in line with the highest engineering standards and quality assurance.
