Hydroelectric Power Producing Area Development Commission has concluded plans to train 5000 youths from the affected communities in the six HYPPADEC states on various skills.

Abubakar Yelwa disclosed after Governing Council meeting.
A statement issued by Head, Press and Public Affairs, HYPPADEC, Nura Tanko Wakili, explained that the meeting resolved that youths and women groups must be considered as a priority in improving the living standard of the affected communities.
He said that the packages cover ICT, Agribusiness, aquaculture, livestock production, fabrication and cosmetology among others.
