His royal highness the emire of Dutse Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi expressed confidence and safety of Astrazeneca COVID – 19 vaccines.
The emir assured the safety of the vaccines shortly after receiving his first dose of vaccine yesterday at Dutse emirate palace.
He explained that, as part of government’s responsibility to protect and provide safety to the people, therefore government will never allow any body to take the vaccines without assuring it’s safety.
“ today I have taken my vaccine and I appealed to Nigerian particularly Jigawa people to accept the covid – 19 vaccines as it was approved by World Health Organisation and other international health agencies”, he said.
While speaking at the palace, the executive secretary Jigawa state primary healthcare development agency Dr Kabiru Ibrahim, commended the traditional leaders for their support and contribution towards achieving alot of health program in the state.
