The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Dr. Abubakar Abdul Dzukogi, has assured the polytechnic unions that his administration will continue to maintain the peace accord signed between the management and the union of the Polytechnic.
In a statement issued by the Rector’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Abdulkadir Abdullahi Yahaya and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi yesterday, stated that the Rector did not appoint himself into position and that the issue of Rector’s tenure has for long been settled by the appointing authorities.
“I reiterated my commitment to the peace accord recently signed with one of the staff unions”.
