Babangida while receiving him to bless his appointment at uphill Manson in Minna, called on other governors in the country to emulate Abba Yusuf who based appointments on merit.
In his acceptance remarks, the newly appointed Diaspora Special Adviser said it is a big challenge that requires dedication, hardwork and honest loyalty to achieve success
Abdulhameed disclosed that this appointment portrays Kano State governor as a detrabalized leader who believes in merit and good credentials for all appointments.
