Senate assures of mitigating naira depreciation/ economy – Sen. Musa

Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance and Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District, Mohammed Sani Musa has said the committee is working out measures in mitigating the current effect of continuous naira depreciation and foster economic stability.
Senator Musa in a statement he personally issued that addressed the state of the Economy and Naira Depreciation in Nigeria, proffered various solutions to the challenges at tackling the economic instability and continuous depreciation of the Naira.
According to him, the Senate will explore and encourage a robust oversight to mitigate naira depreciation and Nigeria economic instability as the Nigerian economy is facing significant challenges, exacerbated by both internal and external factors.
He added that “despite efforts to stabilize and bolster economic growth, the numerous initiatives and bold but necessary steps and policy decisions taken by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the persistent depreciation of the Naira against major foreign currencies has become a pressing concern”.
