Igbo clergy honour FCT retired Judge

The Worldwide Igbo Clergy Association (WICA) has conferred an award of “Enyi Ndi Igbo” in politics on the retired judge of the Capital Territory (FCT) High Court of Justice, Hon. Justice Mwada Balami.
The award which was bestowed on Justice Balami by the National President of WICA, Rev. Dr. Chukwudi Umahi at the National Christians Centre Abuja.
While presenting his speech, Dr. Chukwudi Umahi, said the awards were conferred on justice Balami alongside other personalities based on their contributions towards the progress and development of Igbos at their respective areas.
In an interview, Justice Balami thanked the management of WICA for the honour done to him, saying that he would continue to relate with the association for good.
According to Justice Balami, if you have a wicked mind you cannot get the awards, so be good to the people always.
He said: “I have never one day go out to look for an award from anybody, but I do not know how the people identify me. My advice for the people is that they should not feel they are big man, because there is no big man in the world apart from God”.
He disclosed that he had bagged over one hundred awards for now, calling on the Political officeholders as well as highly placed individuals not to be arrogant towards the less privileged ones in the society.
