Date:

The eze Igbo-elect in Garki village of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Ruben Ndubisi has advocated for the promotion of peaceful atmosphere by stakeholders, as it’s needed for rapid development of the society.
Ndubisi, who made the appeal recently at Wuse in Abuja, particularly admonished politicians and electorate to ensure peace in whatever they do.
The community leader said that if peace is embraced, the forthcoming 2019 general election will be free and fair, adding that peace would go a long way to promote unity among the people.
The Eze Igbo-elect urged to any contestant who lost during the election to accept that in good faith, just as he advised anyone who wins to accommodate the losers in order to promote unity of purpose.
“We should abide by peace, which if done would go a long way to enhance free and fair elections.
“I appeal to anyone who loses to accept it in good faith and any one who wins to accommodate the losers in order to enhance unity of purpose,” he stressed.
Ndubisi therefore called on Ndigbo in Garki village and Abuja in general to actively participate in politics to enable them join hands in the governance of the FCT where they reside, have property and families.
