Two Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs), TY Danjuma Foundation and School Hunters Education Development Initiative (SHEDI), has donated a block of five classrooms, learning materials and furniture to LEA Primary School in Dakwo community, in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
Presenting the materials, the group managing Director of SHEDI, Mrs. Shola Okpodu, noted that the intervention would improve the standard of education at the grassroots, as well as improve the standard of early child care education in the school.
Okpodu maintained that SHEDI did not just build classrooms block, but has also provided learning facilities like three desktop, textbooks, six tables, chairs, toilets and also repaired about 100 tables and chairs.
Responding, the Headmistress of the school, Mrs. Aisha Ahmed, commended the SHEDI for coming to the rescue of the school at such a critical time.
