Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state has disclosed that he has no intention of contesting any post in the 2023 elections.
Masari made the disclosure weekend in Katsina in an interview with newsmen.
He stressed that in 2023 he will be going back to his farm.
The governor added that he had been a speaker of the national assembly and deputy chairman of the APC, “ I have no interest in contesting for any post in the national assembly or at the party level”.
Masari noted that Katsina state had it’s fair share in ruling the country and should therefore allow others to rule.
He recalled that for three times Katsina had the previledged of ruling the country, recallingthat ‘Yar’adua and the incumbent president Buhari all from Katsina state had the privilege of ruling the country.
