Following the escalating cases of kidnapping, banditry , cultism and other security challenges bedeviling the country, the Senior Pastor of House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday in Chikun Local Government Area of kaduna, pastor Yakubu Yusuf led members of the ministry to seek God intervention to end the menace.
Pastor Yakubu said the security situation facing the country today needs divine intervention to ensure that peace and tranquility return to the land.
He said he is confident that when the church prays there is going to be positive change in Nigeria
“We are tired of this killing and slaughtering of people like animals
“We know the battle is yours so Lord take over the battle because you are mighty in battle.
“The same way you arrested Saul on the way to Damascus to persecute the Christians ,let your light shine on the perpetrators of this evils and their collaborators
“ Our hearts are grieved by the killings of the Seminarian and Juji oh God come the rescue of your people,” he said.
Pastor Yakubu Yusuf called on the Federal Government to as a matter of national importance, tame the unabated killings of Christians particularly in the North and other parts of the country.
Mainwhile one of the four Abducted Seminarians of the Good Shepherd Major Seminary, Kaduna,who were kidnapped on 8th January, 2020,has been found dead.
Registrar of the Seminary Rev. Fr. Dr. Joel Usman.stated this in a statement made available to the media in kaduna yesterday.
The school registrar confirmed the death of Brother Nnadi Michael, the only seminarian in the kidnapper’s den.
