Insurgency: Buhari, Osinbajo supporters to raise funds for IDPs

The Buhari Osinbajo Supporters Across Nigeria United (BOSANU) , is to raise funds in its effort to help the vulnerable Nigerians who have been displayed by the activities of the dreaded Boko Haram in the northern Nigeria.

The group which constituted a committee saddled with the responsibility of organisisng, launching of the pet project tagged Feeding Our Orpahns and Displaced Families Across Nigeria (FOODFAN) stated this yesterday in a press release signed by the chairman of the group, Professor Emmanuel Garba.

According to the release, FOODFAN programmes “ is aimed at mobilizing spirited public individuals and organizations to render a helping hand towards feeding orphans and internally displayed persons across the affected states in Nigeria and the donation will be handed over to the National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA) , for free distribution to people affected.

In a related development, the release stated that the sale of 5 million tubers of yam in support of Buhari-osinbajo presidential campaign appeal fund which was scheduled to hold on Sunday, 4th January has been shifted to Sunday, 18th January this year.
