An Abuja based legal practitioner and principal partner of Sarah Ngozi Nwosa & co, Barr. Sarah- Maryam H. Ngozi Nwosa has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to take a part of honour by resigning honourably owing to his failure to curtail the activities of Boko Haram insurgents.

The lawyer in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja wants President Jonathan to resign for not heeding to admonitions in the several letters they wrote, intimating him of their findings which according them would have nipped these challenges in the bud.

The firm also, alleged that, “Mr. President lied continually to the Nigerian community that he does not and did not know the sponsors of Boko Haram in Nigeria.” Adding that, “if indeed he does not know, then he is not fit to be Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of this country.”

Threatening to join the President in a suit, with the Al-Qaeda inclined Army Generals for treason for his complicity in Nigerian Army Al-Qaeda, they want him to arrest the situation or face impeachment.

The study by the firm recommends as an end to the Boko Haram insurgency, the investigation of the Nigerian Army, by an Independent body. The firm confirms that they wrote a letter to the office of the Chief of Defense detailing all their findings.

They also alleged Al-Qaeda Infiltration of Nigerian Army saying that some military personnel have pledged their allegiance to the group at the detriment of the nation, and have recruited a vast number of vulnerable Nigerian youth turning them to criminals. They held is the most likely reason why the foreign Armies who initially came to help had to go back. The firm called on “Boko Haram sect, members under any guise to lay down their arms and surrender perhaps amnesty will be granted them.

The law firm in their findings admonished the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to postpone the forth coming elections.

It is important to note that the firm is a Northern based law firm who has dedicated nine years to study and research on Al-Qaeda in Nigeria which recently released the product of its nine years research-study.
