Is FCT Minister Musa Bello working?

We asked for him and we got him back and justifiably so because ever since the reappointment of the minister of the federal capital territory, a hundred days ago, he has not betrayed the reasons for his reappointment.
Yes, a hundred days has elapsed since his reappointment. The minister of the territory, who is eloquent and passionate about the FCT has continued from where he stopped last term and walked his talk with renewed vigour and candour. Mohammed Bello has continued to match his reputation with not such much the presence of wit and directness, but with candour, alertness of intellect and a detached concentration of the task at hand. First hundred days is usually marked with so much fuss, so much attention. But why is the first hundred days in office so much important to the people and the leader too?. In a sense,the first hundred days in office,especially of a political office holder is a period adopted for the assessment of the leadership impact and direction of a particular leader. It is a subjective criterion adopted to gauge the future achievement of a leader based on the trend observable from the last hundred days. More often than not,the trend of the last hundred days assessment does not reflect the true future of a dispensation much less a necessary and sufficient framework for performance verdict. Nonetheless, a judgement of the first hundred days is neither here nor there as it varies from institutions to institutions,systems to systems,and prevailing socio-political situation of a people. Achievements in the first hundred days are noted differently. A singular statement or act defines an administrations entire posturing just as initiatives and strategy can.
Mohammed Bello,have shown in the first 100days of his reappointment for a second time by his posturing,initiatives and strategy that he is an established, stable financial expert and matured administrator. And with the global economy and our national prosperity as uncertain as it is, the president was right in appointing a financial expert to manage the FCT. Aside other problems that appeared to have slowed down the FCT development, misplacement of priorities arising from the urge to satisfy all shades of opinion in one swift have been a major drawback. Therefore,Mohammed bello resolves in this second term to build on the major achievements of his first term. The ministers careful assessments of projects and programmes in the FCT and reorganisation for greater impacts is thus a good launching pad for the needed change in the FCT. in his first hundred days is an achievement that must be applauded by all.
The FCT indeed was in a straitened circumstances before the coming of the minister in his first term as evidenced by the wide infrastructural deficiency, unemployment, environmental abuse and degradation, poor transportation and population upsurge, insecurity among others. The minister brought his expertise to bear to secure more additional revenue streams to the city by ensuring that the city,s economy is supported by the business sectors such as financial services, biomedical and IT. This he has continued to do to ensure a better future.
The minister has also shown a combative determination to pursues the development plans of the satellite towns and improve the road networks and transportation system while improving a strong financial position. Unarguably, maintaining the land swap policy of the past administration with some modifications to enhance efficiency and transparency in the process,that is also a good starting point, as policy reversal of the past administration as a bane of the FCT in the past is departed from. As this minister marks his first hundred days in office in the second term,one thing we must notice is that success is not about where we are but in which direction we are going. We therefore must avail him all the support and encouragement he needs in our development match to the promised land. As the minister marks his hundred day in office, may he meet with success upon his ways in the second term.
