The Government of Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has been accused of moving in circles without focus by his former Special Adviser, Saleh Ahmadu Pintim, who claimed this was what forced him to leave the appointment.

Recall that Pintim had tendered his resignation through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Anthony Jellason on the 31st of January, copies of which were made available to newsmen in Jalingo.

He said at the time that his decision became necessary following the manner in which the government was being handled.

The former SA who claimed to have been given an appointment without any responsibility, said his option was to leave the office.

Pintim, in the statement disclosed how he has been receiving salaries without working, claiming it was against his faith.

Alleging that the administration “has no focus”, Pintim said he had no alternative but to leave.

Describing Ishaku’s government as “a government that is moving in circles without any progress”, the former SA claimed it would not be ideal for him to remain in such circles.

He said, ”the past two years or so have been most challenging in my life and faith.

“I was paid salaries without any responsibility which is against my faith particularly in a government and party that had lost focus”.
